40-32 overall, 2-1 yesterday. long time madjackers know i have this morbid affinity for really ugly dogs. got one for you tonight.
loyola mt +5: okay, it's like this, just give me a chance before you spew on your laptop. i'm offended by the idea of portland as a road favorite. counting the pilots big trans/la win over pepprdine saturday night, over the last two years the pilots on the road are 9-13 ats, 3-20 s/u, and 0-2 as road favs (earlier loss this year as a 1- pt fav at powerhouse e wash.) this is their fourth road game in a row - two losses on an east coast swing last week to perennial hoops powers yale and army, and saturday's win in malibu. now, i admit, the lions aren't much, but their defense ain't much worse the than the waves. and, while i'm not much on rpi, your name doesn't have to be sagarin to notice loyola's schedule has been a lot tougher than portland's. guess i could sum it up and say i'm betting against the pilots getting back to back road wins and covering the nickel to boot.
