Hey Loop, looks like your powder is almost as wet as mine. Wasn't that a pitiful display by Iowa St last night. I guess Kansas and prime time on espn wasn't enough motivation. I hate to lose, but I really hate it when my team doesn't show up.

loop,

i think you can go ahead and grab tulane +14.0 now.

if wade and richmond are suspended for tonight this tiger team will be in trouble with the current injury situation and playing their 5th game in 11 days....

the situation is this:

Memphis officials will make a decision before tonight's game whether guards Billy Richmond and Clyde Wade serve a one-game suspension stemming from their involvement in a fight during the Tigers' third game of the season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Richmond, a starter who is averaging 15.5 points per game, is a transfer from Vanderbilt and was not eligible at the time of the incident. Wade, a freshman, is a reserve with a 2.0 average. The suspension is being imposed by the university.

but now coach calp is weighing what he should do with the conference opener...

Though it was thought that Billy Richmond and Clyde Wade would miss tonight's contest while serving their one-game suspensions for fighting against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 25, that doesn't necessarily seem to be the case anymore. On Monday, Calipari was non-commital on the issue while saying that both could sit or both could play or one could sit while the other played.

Any final decision, the third-year Memphis coach said, would come today. But it is worth noting that Richmond and Wade each walked through practice Monday as they normally would have.

"We'll figure out how we're going to do it," Calipari explained. "Obviously, they are both going to be penalized equally. I'll figure it out. But they are both going to be penalized a conference game."

pg hunt still out and starting guard rice has deep thigh bruise so minutes could be limited..

tulane will double team massie inside and seem to have the seniors lead by brown to go on the road focused for a conference key game.

take a look at it and see if worthy a play......

i think at worse you could buy back if suspensions are announced.

good luck tonight
