niagara moneyline (+200) over manhattan

*if niagara would have remembered theres two halves to a basketball game, they could have swept the season series with the jaspers. instead, manhattan rallied to win both games. but niagara knows they can hang

*last years meeting between these two in the maac tourney was a classic (double OT, mendez and flores just carrying their teams- scoring 31 and 30 respectively) and the jaspers winning 81-80 in 2OT

*both teams are outstanding from the line. manhattan 76% and niagara 75%. niagara had a rare off-night from the line yesterday and thats what allowed siena to hang around longer than they should have. but the purple guys knocked down every critical FT down the stretch to finish 30-42 after hitting right around 50% in a foul-filled first half.

*i just think niagara finally gets over the hump tonight. theyve been right there with manhattan the last few meetings. this should be the most entertaining game of the entire night. its about time that niagara puts a full 40:00 together against manhattan- this is a very talented team thats not outclassed tonight whatsoever. just gotta hope they get over the mental hurdle of leading the L3 at half and not being able to finish

I like this one a lot. Is there any rhyme and reason to your use of moneylines? I often wonder as to when I should add a moneyline play. I play almost all doggies and get lots of outrights, but am not sure as to what percentage of my play on the spread I should put on the moneyline. Any thoughts?

Hate to go against you tonight, but I think that Niagra's past game being battles hurts their chances against a well rested Manhattan team. Maybe I'm putting too much into the double bye that goes to the top seed in the MAAC, but I think that it's huge.

Best of luck - and you're right this should be a fun one to watch.

*zags got caught in a slowdown-style game last night vs santa clara. i think theyre gonna make a concerted effort to get out in transition and establish their tempo early. st.marys will oblige the zags if the game becomes uptempo. gaels have the firepower to score points. both teams solid from the field, from 3pt range, and from the line. west coast conference has seen some higher scoring championship games in the past. this should be one of them. marys game should have gone well over the number last night if not for a 'dead period' in the first 5:00 of the 2h. (were the players wearing blindfolds?). gonzagas defense wasnt the problem yesterday. broncos just hit a lot of tough shots. zags had offensive issues. i think theyre gonna look to push the tempo here and get more easy baskets.

ohio state (+310) loses by 1 with a shot to win in the final secs

i don't know if you were watching the manhattan game or not...but that niagra guy got fouled on the last shot...tough break....however, i have never seen manhattan miss so many free throws!

i had to do a double take when i saw you were posting sans raiders logo. normally im all for letting the players decide the final seconds. but i figured id get a call either in the niagara or osu game where both had a little more contact than normal.

zags have some breathing room. should be about 82-85 2h points as marys tries to play catch up
