GB/BALT UNDER (16.5) 1st half

Both teams struggle offensively, should be a running game. While both teams have pretty big stoppers on the defensive fronts, the QB's will struggle to pass. GB is not as good as Balt in the defense department but thats ok because the Balt offense is rubbish on offense and Boller couldn't pass a urine test let alone a football, he is a liability to the ravens on offense. Still the GB defense is bad and most QB's have been able to score on them. That is why I like the Balt defense to set up tonight and hold the GB offense. In the cold night air in Baltimore I see a lot of punts and few passes because GB knows Favres tendency to throw picks and they should keep it on the ground, while Balt knows Bollers tendency to throw ducks and they should keep it on the ground. Both teams defense will tighten around the red zone making FG's the play for me.

Always nice to read an informative opinion on the game.

The pack have a top 10 defense along with baltimore, so the under merits consideration.
Favre is such a wild card in these natl TV games that its a tough number to stay under if he tosses a pick six. Plus hes injured and still tough as nails. Hard to say how the ball is gonna come out looking tonight. Should be lots of running but Taylor has a lot more big play ability than Lewis. Alas...

Lots of Q marks to try and answer.

Do I detect sarcasm :142squint

Looking at the 2 teams performances over the past few games I would think both Sherman and Billick (sp) want to eliminate the big mistake which puts even more emphasis on the running game. Both backs have big play potential but as you stated both teams have adequate defenses to counter. You are right the ball bounces funny sometimes and you cannot discount. Still considering the Pack was lucky to beat the lions in a poor offensive showing and Baltimore has looked poor on offense all season, figuring both teams propensity to run, were the factors in this play. As always there is the chance for Favre to relive old glory days and light up the skies as he has on many Monday night games. Lewis and Taylor run all day on the Packers reminiscent of Lewis record breaking day against Cleveland years ago. Baltimore's defense comes out and scores 14 points as the superbowl Ravens defense did or even last years squad. All in all it could go any way but the way I hope it goes is the way I base my play. Good luck to you on which ever play you decide.

No sarcasm or slight there. I call bullshit outright and upfront.

Just seems there are a ton of poster like this

Seattle -8 POUND IT

or

Steelers -5 (7****)

Never any analysis or rationale behind it. Its refreshing to have a written take on the game. Win or lose, you always seem to have a work up behind the play. Keep it up.

Good luck with your play Irish. I believe there is a chance Favre has his way with the single safety defensive set the Ravens have made famous this year. The good news is that Boller is beyond lousy and you have two very tough defenses playing tonight.

"the bunker"
it`s gonna be pretty damn cold....

all the games are sellouts,so it will be rocking....

boller`s playing for his football life...literally...

the ravens usually find a way vs this level of opposition at home...but a field goal and a hook....that hook....for a team that struggles to score t.d.`s...

it`s tough...i`d honestly buy that half if i was wagering on baltimore..

i teased `em small with chicago and chicago under...just to have something going...

certainly not a game to take the rubber band off on...

g.l.,guys..

Under (10) 2nd quarter

The poor special teams coverage has settled down.
