Monday Night Football question

Mondays are moving to ESPN. NBC will be doing the Sunday night game next year - which means ABC is out. I guess you could say ABC was outbid, but ABC owns ESPN and apparently preferred to do it this way.
One advantage to the new contract...games in the last two months of the year can be changed around between Sunday afternoon and Sunday night/Monday night. So if there's a meaningless game scheduled for Sunday night or Monday night, NBC and/or ESPN have the right to swap it out and move one of the Sunday daytime games to Sun night/Mon night in its place.

As for the crews...
Madden and Michaels will be split up. Madden has signed on with NBC to do Sunday nights, but Michaels wanted to stick with Mondays...so he will continue to do MNF. Joe Theisman stays with ESPN and will do color on MNF.
Al Maguire is being kicked upstairs to the pregame show on NBC. Not sure what is happening to Mike Patrick.
