San Francisco @ Seattle... I know most cappers will look at this game and like the Seabags... they beat San Francisco @ their place 23-3 not long ago and the Monday night winner covers something like 90% of the time. However, San Francisco can get right back in the playoff picture with a victory... let me repeat, they can get right back in the playoff picture as they would be 3-6 and just a game behind Seattle in the NFC WORST. I know Alex Smith has looked terrible, but Gore is going to start and should get a number of carries and I would expect San Francisco to keep their game plan simple and not beat themselves. Seattle is also VERY banged up as Alexander is questionable along with Branch and Pollard... I would expect the Seabags to have some problems scoring as San Fran's defense isn't terrible. I see this game being low scoring although & I'll probably take the Under 38 for a small play as well. Another thing, San Francisco won @ Seattle last season 24-14 as 10 POINT UNDERDOGS... deja vu? Probably not, but I think they make this game interesting.
Seattle 20 San Francisco 13
I would tread lightly as 49'ers are capable of getting killed, they have lost 6 in a row and gone 1-5 ATS in the process. The Forty-Whiners also have a terrible turnover margin and this could crush them if Alex Smith starts throwing picks. However, getting double digits in their biggest game of the season is enough of a reason to back a double digit dog IMO. Road teams did great ATS on Sunday and hopefully this carries over to Monday night.
San Francisco +10.5 (-120) for 10*
San Francisco 1st half +6 (-105) for 5*
