Last week when Shelby Miller mowed down 10 mets batters in the 5-1 loss, I decided I was gonna keep an eye out for a good spot to bet his strikeouts to go over the number. I believe this next game is it; going up against a team that has a ton of problems and he is also off a loss. Miller has the most K's among all first- year pitchers this season with 91, and also leads all rookies in wins. He got 10 last week in 6 innings, so asking him to get 7 tonight in 6 isn't asking too much IMO. Wood is tough, and we could very well see a low-scoring pitchers duel tonight, lets just hope he doesn't get lit early.

Hey man, I would love that! I hate the cards! I was at the Braves/Cards elimination game last year when everyone started throwing stuff on the field- it was nuts. Would love to see Miller pitch a great game but lose 2-1 or something like that. Will be pulling for your under in the rangers game as well!

You've got to think between lannan and haren (and the big swing in the side) that someone is gonna get hit early. Also, the total has gone from 8-8.5 on my site with the public slightly on the under. I think someone gives em up quick tonight.

Of course Miller gets pulled for cramps with 5 K's in the 5th! Great start and was on pace to get it. That's the only reason these player props are dangerous. You never know when shit like this is gonna happen. Won my YES score bet, so softened the blow a little, but what can you do?
