Agreed. This first half has been almost unwatchable because of all the fawking delays. Time for some new blood.

Sign up guys. Start with your local state high school association and go to the classes. Then you can begin your internship working Pee-Wee leagues and JR High school games. After 2-3 years and a lot of mad parents you will be ready for Freshman and JV games working them for another 2-3-4 years. Then next it is Friday nights and high school varsity man you will log some miles on that mini van or SUV. Four plus years in that role and you will be ready for some Division III college. You get the drill, the ability and the maturity only comes with experience and after all this,....... the game s-l-o-w-s down in your mind and the calls become second nature.

Now the only thing I ask someone to do for me here is the MATH as the math police have already arrested me this month in another thread. :moon: :thefinger

Get real-these guys on the field tonight blow!! If I am not mistaken White got suspended for his poor calls two weeks ago.
I have never seen a ref come back and talk about a replay/TO 10 minutes later. That roughing the QB on STL was a joke.
Too many of these refs are too old. THey are becoming FLAG happy. They SHOULD do a better job. Most make more from this PTime job than I make in 5 years.

He wasnt suspended, but he was fined. The crew tonight has been sort of embarassing.

"Referee Tom White was fined $2,600 for failing to restart the clock at the end of the Seattle-Baltimore game, a mistake that contributed to the Seahawks' 44-41 overtime loss.

The fine represented half of White's game check, supervisor of officials Mike Pereira said Wednesday.

The entire crew was reprimanded for its performance during the Nov. 23 game, presumably hurting its chances to officiate in the playoffs. Crews are assigned to the postseason based on their regular-season ratings."
