only one play tonight, but it's a big one. naturally, this scares me, as it seems every time i get on a run, then find a game i love and hammer it, i lose, and it starts a cold streak. case in point.... 2 weeks ago i loved syracuse against ND. and we all know how that game turned out. at least tonight, i'm going with a much stronger team than syracuse.
georgetown (-9) 3 units. really like the hoyas tonight. i've been on them the last 2 games and i see no reason to get off the train just yet. they have won 7 straight games. the closest was an 8-point win at louisville. tonight they catch a west virginia team off a huge win over ucla. a ucla team that flew cross country and was playing without their point guard, darren collison. don't get me wrong, it's still a big win, but maybe not as big as it's being portrayed. definitely look for a letdown tonight. and if you're not focused on the hoyas, they will pick you apart.
west virginia is 2-3 on the road in conference. the 2 wins were against the new jersey teams.
georgetown shoots 70% from the line, so when wv is fouling them late, they will hit their free throws.
