I feel bad for SF, they should of won that game.. big mistakes cost them.. They had 4 turnovers and only lost by 3.. wow

nicely done ldb. yeah brandon lang is a handicapper that charges all this money for his picks and they are usually losers, but the thing is his money management is horrible so if you fade his picks usually end up in profit at the end of the season. I look for his picks and try to stay away from them as much as possible there are systems out there that solely fade his picks and do very well. Great job last night ldb! keep those profits rolling

He had a REALLY bad last year, so that's when a lot of the 'fade Lang' threads started popping up on forums. He's not very good, but last year he was a lot worse than usual.

The reason people follow him is because he's an obnoxious loudmouth who brags about great he is, which is what most people who buy picks want to hear.

Also, he claimed to win like 18 Super Bowls in a row (which was never documented). And then when they made a movie about the dude, that just made people want to throw their money at the guy...

Two For The Money. Warning though, it's an AWFUL movie. It's got Pacino in it, which is good, but it's also got Matthew McConaughey playing Lang's part. No wonder it sucked. :mj07:

will have to look at it.. thanks glenn :toast:

No problem. If you go into it with low expectations, you might not be too disappointed. I guess there are some entertaining parts. Just don't expect Citizen Kane. :142smilie

Give it a whirl. I'm just not a big fan of over-the-top, sensationalized movies, and a lot of it didn't seem very accurate to me. I'll be the first to admit I have a tendency to pick movies apart, though, so don't take my word for it. Everyone has different taste in movies, and I often forget that.

Glad you liked it. Although I can't say I 'recommended' it, considering I said it was awful. :mj07:

Seriously though, I was probably exaggerating a bit. Maybe 'awful' was too harsh. I do remember Pacino being good in it and that it is somewhat entertaining. I think the cheesiness just kind of got to me. Then again, Brandon Lang is incredibly cheesy, so maybe it was dead on. :toast:
