The Red Sox probably think that they?re sitting pretty going into this series. They?ve already established dominance over the Athletics by winning five of the previous six games (+$395) against a team they may well have to beat out for the wildcard. But, that makes the Athletics an even more dangerous host, especially against the Sox? all righthanded starting pitching (28-14, +$515 at home vs. righties). PREFERRED: Athletics vs. Arroyo, Wakefield and Lowe.
