Baylor -1.5 over Texas **
Tough game to capp...Spent way to much time on this game and if I wasn't going to the game would probably pass on it...It's senior nite and Texas has 2 seniors that are both walk ons...don't think you can get up for that...Post Kabango Texas is 3-3...have played Kansas,Iowa St Ok St,etc close at home..Baylor has lost 4 of last 5 and its loss to Kansas St was unreal at the end...Baylor on the rd sucks...but player for player they are better then Texas. Jackson leads the B-12 in scoring.Austin the 7'1 frosh is talking about the NBA.He avg's 13 pts and 9 bds...Jefferson at 6'9 avg 12 pts and 8 bds...Texas inside has no scorers...Lammert and Papa like to shoot outside..Holmes is ok but is 6'7..there are 3 freshman and 2 sophs..Kabango is a stud...McClennan is in the dog house again with Barnes.2nd leading scorer and played 7 minutes vs Ok St on Sat...Bears won in OT by 7 back in Waco. in that game the Baylor front line dominated.And Baylor has won 7 of the last 9 times they played.
Baylor has or they think they have a shot at the "dance". They are 8-8 and need to be 9-8 before Kansas next week...Texas knows its playing out the season...Texas defense is really good but Jackson outside and Austin and Jefferson inside should give them a rare road win.Kabango needs some scoring help around him...don't think he has enough..esp in the paint....
