Here ya go, DT

Here ya go, DT

Here's plenty for you to read, DT and peepers....

I'm sorry bout not being around forya, DT. Ain't it something when a sports forum with 100s, 1000+(?) members has TWO stinkin members (that would be me and you, LOL) looking for each other to share thoughts. I don't know if the few participating members we had are still digging out of snow mounds, had enough of this forum of very few, or just got tired of losing their money in this sport and decided to try a worser one ( :142smilie ). Too bad cause, IMO, this sport, when followed VERY closely and gets PLENTY of your efforts, can limit losses or even put you ahead year after year... and, best of all, is really enjoyable like the other sports that folks get interested in. Unfortunately, you have put a lot, and I mean A LOT, of effort into horse racing to have a chance and that means on ONE wacetwack (IMO), keeping records, PLENTY of experience with the sport, some math skills, etc. Fact is, it's prob. too much work/risk for most folks to give to have only a chance of coming out ahead. I guess it's the same for other folks with other sports but, for me, I already gots the PLENTY of experience part which takes a long time and is a big facta... so I got hoss wacin as my "hobby" of choice. :)

I've been playing a little college baskets myself and holding my own, surprisingly. BUT, I was telling friends that I can not imagine what the BIG BOYS ($) are going through with that game. You know - sit their watching the whole game, which usually means nuthin, only to risk getting a heart attack or nervous breakdown when the REAL game starts which gets played in the final SECONDS almost for every stinkin game that they got their money bags on. NO THANKS ! BUT, as a player NOT A GAMBLER - I play parlays for peanuts, usually look for dogs getting points. Finding the right games, just like finding the right (PLAYABLE) races, with that situation is the way to go I think. I plan on getting more serious when they dance in the BIG Bawlroom and look forward to actually watching many of the games and betting them more seriously. COLLEGE football and even baskets are really fun and exciting for me. I'm sure I'll be on some of the favorites during the Madness.

Back to the subject at hand (LOL)...
While the forum is in Dullsville, I just post on Sats. to see if there's any interest These days there ain't so I don't have to bother with Dullsville for the rest of the Philly week; I can use that time for studying the "heart attack kids" :mjo7:

Funny thing, you posted the first three races and my first PLAYable race was the 4th and now I see that your picks matched mine with that 6,7 hosses as keys you posted afterwards. Not so funny thing was that I used them and somehow forgot to use no. 8 WHICH WAS MY TOP RATED HOSS in that race. Lost some trifecta bets for that race with that no. 8 running 3rd. Only 3 other playables today...
6th, 7,9 top/bot 4,5,6 -> $51.20 zackta
7th, 2,8 t/b 1,3,5... 2,8 sqwatched - all refunded.
8th, 1,2 t/b 4,8 -> measly $13.20 zackta.

Lastly, when I go out the door of the house - I carry ZERO electronic toys. That means I can't find Mad Jack's place or any place on the dang "cloud" and the Mad Jackers can't find me. Don't need any more addictions or social networking frustrations/game playing, DT. Answer machine is on IN THE HOUSE along with Ms. Jimboski most of the time. Fact is, I don't even have any of those electronic toys at all... and I'm a semi retired computer software analyst/technician. There are two exceptions in this house and that's a Playstation and an Xbox, BOTH of which were gifts or given to me by a friend when he upgraded. Both are mostly (not all the time) collecting dust too. :)
BTW, I did get me a steering wheel and gas/brake pedal thingy and have fun with car racing games and a LOT with the old Dukes of Hazzard thingy. :) Maybe it's because I had the exact same Dodge Mopar (SE Charger with a 440, only thing on the road I couldn't pass was a gas station) they drive in that game and had a blast with that street hot rod too.

That's where I'm at these days, DT. For you, I'll post a best bet or two for lucky Tue$ and see how you did if you post PARX plicks. ;)
Don't know if I'll be able to catch any of the late races LIVE tomorrow. Probably not.

Hope you and the missing participating MJers are doing well.

Tues spot plicks

Tues spot plicks

Got a little worried cause it started to look like a poor race card when I started to look for "Playables". That sure changed for the later races though. :)

Here ya go, DT....

5th race: no. 4, Raybern's Gold, looks pretty solid at 9/2 (odds may be wishful thinking though). No. 2 may be worth a look but ya need at least two good things about a horse like this that has terrible lines/record. Did find two - trainer and LONE SPEED. Other than those, this one does look like a throw away but the odds are very tempting with the good post. A little side order for me on this one.

6th race: Looks like a Philly bonanza payoff. I'll be going for the jugular in this one. Heavy duty bets on nos. 6 and 8, both are keys to the exoctics (zacks AND Tries) for me. Do include the magic nos. tries on this race; Hammy knows what that means and I think you do as well. ;)

Good luck the rest of the way, DT and homies.

NOT exactly LUCKY Tues

NOT exactly LUCKY Tues

Well, we all had wiener(s). "Right on" with my writeup about Raybern - 9/2 morning liner wins at 3/1 and got sqwatch money back on that no. 2 horse. Not very much right on with my other 3 playables. :(

Nice price on that Ovation hoss, DT. And 50% wieners for Hammy today - that's picking them :clap:

Been a long, long drought for me asfaras getting one of them Philly LUNKERS zotics, close a few times, but no ceegar. Gotta be one on that dang conveyor belt heading this way SOON.

G.L. with them basket bawlers.
