Not much profit in the 1st Race but it beats the alternative. Ran 2-4-5-6 so I missed out on the Trifecta thanks too the #5 who went off @ 35-1. Wished I had him as the $2.00 Trifecta paid $82.00. :shrug:

DT, I just got online and only checked your best bets. They look like the same results as my Best Bets.

I HOPE at least one of your other races clicked, no time for me to check now. This racing game can run in cycles and maybe we're in the downslop? Better days ahead, I'm sure for both of us.

SD: VERY good move, NOT playing everyday. ESP. the number of races you play methinks. Thank you for stopping in my thread today, HOPE it didn't cost you as much as it costed me today Givem hell this upcomming weekend. Since you don't play most weekdays, I just may not post anything for tomorrow so I don't tempt ya.

That will be hard for me to do ... cause tomorrow is "lucky" Tues. .. We'll see.

Not a very good day for either of us Jimbo. :facepalm: Did hit the Exacta in the 5th Race for $52.00 but that was it for me @ Old Philly Park. Lost about $168.00 today. :nooo:

DT, you prob. know that I am a small bettor MOST OF THE TIME. But the last couple of weeks are a good example when you/ME actually, stray away from that. I can NOT believe that using my way of handicapping which has, AT LEAST, kept my head above water for a long time could possibly come up with 3 absolutely solid plays (easily Bestest bets of the week) by far, each of which was no. worse than 3rd M.L. choice too and I'm pretty sure that 2 of them went off the favorite... and every one of the bastages RUN OUT OF THE MONEY.GOOD THING my longshot plick of the day got sqwatched. I went overboard on each one. I checked my records and NEVER found a top rated horse (by a wide margin) run out of the money in three consecutive times. And "going back in my records" means YEARS. BTW, "overboard" to me is not that close to $100/race; total bets for the race that is but not far from it either.

For whatever reason, whenever I hit a Philly "jackpot' I go into a terrible slump. Happens every freakin time. Here's what can happen to a conservative bettor like myself... After I hit that $500+ exacta two weeks ago, my bankaroo was over $600. You know where it's at today? ... how bout a few dollars from $270.

Guess I can't complain because my bankaroo was at $120 before hitting that big one. The other thing that stops me from just hitting the emergency brake with the hoss racing bit is that I am picking wieners but, when I do.. I'm not playing them properly.

Horses run in cycles and I guess handicappers do to. You know.. the ole .....

I don't think anybody's playing along with my plicks at least not lately and GOOD FOR THEMS. But, I still don't wanna lose other peoples moola.. so I may not post until the JINX is over. Hmmm... it is "Lucky Tues" today. Wel, maybe one or two plays .
