Angle record: 10-2 +8.6 units

KC (Suppan) +115 over Detroit. This is a rematch from April 23. Since 2000 these 2 have faced each other 4 times, with each team winning twice. In each game, the team that lost the last time did get the revenge

Weaver is an enigma. I've seen this guy pitch a number of times and sometimes he looks like he should win 20 games. But when he's bad, he's really terrible. Suppan is pretty inconsistant also. I guarantee you if this angle didn't apply, I wouldn't touch this game with a 10 foot pole.

Valuist --

What's the angle, or do you not say?

Is it simply that there's a pitching rematch, or do some conditions have to apply? Like it was a road win and the rematch is now at home? Or its each of their first start since their last match-up? or what?

Because Rupe-Milton is a rematch tonight, too. . .

Just wondering.

Thanks

The Shrimp --

I don't mean to answer for The Valuist, but that would be a pitcher revenge game but Rupe isn't pitching tonite for TB -- Kennedy replaced him as the starter.

Superbook is right. Here are the conditions:

1. Both pitchers must return, in either their next start or no more than 1 start later.

2. The starter on the losing team in Game 1 must suffer the loss to qualify. If a reliever on KC had suffered the loss (and not Suppan) last week, there would be no play.

Suppan's biggest downfall is the gopherball....there's no better place for a flyball pitcher than Detroit in April. Just one more thing to throw into the KC basket.

Weaver hates the Royals with a passion, just got home from work and the score says 0-0. My thought on this game would be to throw all the trends out the window and go with Weaver. He is out to get the Royals this season after the Mike Sweeney fiasco that embarassed the **it out of him.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I wish I'd played it.

When I posted originally, I thought I'd still seen Rupe, but it was indeed Kennedy.

Kudos on your win.
