Starting with this one:

Temple laying 1 over South Carolina. . . This is as close to a system play as we have had to begin the year as South Carolina may be ranked in tomorrow's poll or polls given their undefeated record. So why was Temple released as the one point favorite?

Above average play. . . will have more around 5:30pm MST.

My fault, one more:

ETSU +3 over Clemson. . . no real reasoning here except this line caught my eye given the fact we have a team from a power conference barely favored over a team that nobody really knows much about. Clemson doesn't look like anything special. . . they barely lost to Georgia but the Bulldogs do not appear to be anything special either.

Average play

Yea, I have only seen one system play (unranked favored at home vs ranked opponet on the road) this year......

AND IT WAS A WINNER:

Louisville on Saturday beating #1 Florida.....

Yes, Louisville was ranked but was still a solid play for several reasons, one being that Louisville was barely in the Top 25 yet favored at home over a Florida team that was #1 but certainly a top team even with the loss to Maryland at home.

Still looking at the rest of the card. . .

Apologize for the late post but:

Old Dominion +1 small

Going with the board on this one. . . most on ODU but the reason I like this one is I believe ODU will have a very strong rebounding edge. Still just betting it small.

Gl all. . . may have more later

Two halftime plays:

Marquette laying 9 average. . . Canisius will not continue to shoot as well as they have. Should be a blowout the 2nd half.

SMU +3 over Wake Forest small. . . for some reason, I really feel SMU covers the original spread. Too much money on the Deacons including the public. SMU will not quit at home and could backdoor the 2nd half spread and/or the game spread.

Adding:

Oregon State +4.5 average play 1st half over Hawaii

Bows haven't played a real game in nearly three weeks. . . not to mention this isn't nearly the same Bow team as in recent years. I think the Bows struggle the first half as they learn to play together as a team once again.

i cant figure that scheduling out for hawaii either. will be interesting to see how that 1h goes.

hawaii is well-coached so they have had extensive time to work on their early season deficiencies.

but theres something to be said for the inevitable rust that comes with such a layoff.

i considered oregon state but got scared away when i looked at their schedule to this point. that loss to portland at home stands out like a sore thumb.

I agree gman which is why I'm only playing the first half. . . Bows should win this one and may do so going away but I expect a close first half.

Adding Eastern Wash laying 2.5 small

After winning the big bet of the night with Temple, I'm a little reluctant to pull the trigger on any other sides but I really like the card tonight.

me again (lol)
really like the eastern washington play. i am just tryin to stay disciplined and not chase money against a team. ive been burned by santa clara twice in the L2 weeks.

from what ive heard, bailey isnt playing (arguably their top 3-pt shooter and 2nd leading scorer)

and santa clara just shoots way too many 3's for my liking. i value 3-pt shooting because its the great equalizer but scu is a team that just jacks 3's with little regard for smart shot selection. the two times ive bet against em, theyve burned me with an array of trifectas. they hit like 14 of em on saturday, lmao. i think they took like 51 shots for the game and 30 were 3-pt attempts. clearly not a ratio that is conducive to road wins if you go cold.

really hope you hit it.

Thanks Unique. . . glad that one cashed for us. . . had basically a wash day but up a little. ETSU was the tough loss as that one should have given us a good day overall.
