Last week was with out a doubt the worst week of baseball handicapping in my 30 year
career. Now I have lost a hell of a lot more money in the past but last week was the worst piss poor handicapping of games I have had the pleasure to endure. Damn that was horrible.

Well with some good luck and digging in like an Alabama Tick Im going to attempt to turn that picture around this week. Buddy is arising out of the ashes like a Phoenix.... errr or some kind of s**t like that.

OOPS SORRY MISTAKE ONLY ONE ILL MAKE ALL WEEKEND. LOL

RJ I jinxed that game a loser for putting a W on it in the 9th inning. I swear this story Im going to tell you is the honest to God truth.

I was in College and up over 6 dimes and one of my best friends comes over my apt and tells me he has to have 1000 dollars and wants to make a bet. I tried to talk him out if it but nooooo he going to do it come hell or high water. I had bet a dime on Philly against the Cubs that day so I just gave him my bet. Its top of the 9th 2 outs and philly is winning 9-6....we are watching the game on Fox TV. He looks at me and says I want to thank for this Buddy...I say whoa your going to jinx the game..LOL he says hell we only need 1 more out. Yep the wind picks up to 30 miles an hour the next guys gets a hit then the next guy gets a hit then the next guy hits a homer and its tied the f**k up 9-9....The Cubs won the game in 14 inning 16-15.Since he was such a good friend I told him to forget the bet and loaned him 1000 dollars. True f**king story...that game cost me 2 dimes.. LOL

Here's a bowl game board story for you. I needed an extra point try blocked in a Syracuse Colorado bowl game once and sure enough I got the block and my numbers lined up for $1000. I knew there were 7 secs left in the quarter and while I was talking to the guy who put the board together cause I like an idiot called him I watched the ensuing kickoff go all the way back for a TD on the last play. Lesson learned and until I see the final score posted I never count anything as a winner. Christ for that matter I remember some 20 years ago they brought the Lakers out of the locker room after the game for 2 free throws to beat the 5.5 spread. I had the +5.5 and they make 2 for the cover. WOW on that one. The gambling gods are not kind sometimes!!!!!
