I started off likibg the pats then reading up on the game started to like Houston but the 1 pt jump from 4.5 to 5.5 has me scratching my head
Me too Arab! I came in loving NE, and all of the time has passed, been perhaps (over)analyzed to death, and this line jump has me confused .
I lived in Houston for most of the last 44 years, and feel I have a pretty good finger on the pulse of Houston sports.
Got no problem fading them either , as I did v GB (w) and CHI (L, when Cutler knocked out in 1H).
To me Kubiak is in way over his head as a HC, with countless time management issues.
And Schaub is a nice guy, a nice QB even, but by no means upper tier. With Foster, Watt, and AJ, they do have some Pro Bowl talent, and have shown at moments to appear to be the class of the league.
But they are still up and coming, IMO, and not quite ready for the next level.
This is the biggest game in franchise history, bigger than either of the playoff games last year.
I do feel like 5.5 is a lot to give them, on one hand. I could also see a DD pats win without stretching the imagination too much.
All the line maneuvers have relegated me to the sideline, as I'm thoroughly confused at this point.
May have to enjoy this one as a fan of the game.

Me personally I have same thoughts as you but its all determined by the system so as far as system its been upgraded to a double play.
