Pittsburgh was a big winner here yesterday. Let's look at another dog for tonight.

Tonight:

I guess I am overlooking something again today with this value, but it worked for me yesterday. Minnesota travels to the Windy City to get back to the battle for the AL Central title. The White Sox have shown signs of returning from their early season coma and have been playing some decent ball lately. Regardless, I will back a pitcher here today that has typically had great success against the CWS. Joe Mays takes the hill for the Twinkies. Mays is 8-4 YTD for the Twins with a 5.77 ERA in 16 starts. More importantly than those numbers, Mays is 8-2 lifetime vs. Chicago with a 3.56 ERA in 16 starts. Moreover, Mays has a 2-0 record this year against Chicago with a 3.71 ERA. Mays has had great success in this match-up and to have dog value is too tempting for me. I will stay with good solid history in this one tonight.

2X-- NEW YORK YANKEES -150
The Yanks bats have always done well against good power pitchers. Ponson is having the best year in his career, but he has never liked meeting the Yankees. I will take my chances with the Bronx Bombers-- they have been real good since getting no hit by the Astros. The Yanks have won seven in a row and the O's have dropped four in a row. More than the streaks, Baltimore has been lousy vs LHP in 2003. They are 7-12 YTD for -6.7 units. Petitte and the Yanks is my decision.
