I like the Wings but they are having trouble puting the puck in the net. They have been going with a trap style of play for the last 5-6 games. I cannot believe this total is at six, I believe this number is based on past meetings between these clubs, Detroit's early season high goal output, and Chicago's inconsistency in net.
With Detroit returning from a long road trip and Chicago having Thibeault rested I look for a tight hard hitting game. I think Detroit wins by a goal either 2-1 or 3-2. Hasek has been playing well and I do not see the Hawks getting more than 2 goals tonight.
I also think Detroit will be a little bitter about their recent road trip and their last game against the Hawks where they blew a big lead and had to settle for the tie.
