I tend to agree but am leary of coach Nelson's new take on this year's team, which is more defensive minded. 194 is a very low total for a Dallas home game. I would be careful here.

Best of luck.

Nice win, Nick. WTG. Good to see you back posting again.

Dallas games have gone under in the first 3 games and was on pace to go well under the total in this game. I get a chance to watch every game, granted at home on TV, and do follow the Mavericks on a regular basis. I think the odds makers are still basing Dallas's game totals on last year's squad.

I think you are right, cryboy. I wasn't expecting 210+ like I would have last season between these two, but I was expecting GSW, which I think has decent shooters, so break out of their shooting slump and hit 45% or so of their shots. They hit more like 35% so either I am wrong about Golden State's shooters being capable of good games or they are in an extended slump. I expect you'll see GSW's shooters break out in the next game or two.

Nick, I played Dallas/Orlando under 202 tonight and got an easy winner. I will continue to play the under in Dallas games until Vegas makes adjustments to this year's Mavericks team, which I think is more defensive with the presence of E. Dampier in the middle. It will also take a while for new point guard J. Terry to gel with M. Finley and D. Nowitzki like S. Nash the past few years.

Enjoy reading your posts always.
