BETTER TEAM....playing like high schoolers at times but if they begin to shoot at the levels they are capable of they win tonight. Rashaad Anderson, a career 40% from 3 is in the 20s
Denham Brown woke up in last game with 19 but has been woefully inconsistent...also a career 40% from 3.....Rudy Gay is learning but better than anyone Oklahoma will have out there...Charlie Villanueva woke up with 19 and 13 in last and that is BIG for CT if he can continue to play agressive ball.Josh Boone,Hilton Armstrong and Ed Nelson will give Bookout and Taj Gray some BIG trouble tonight underneath and that Okie shooting % will go as far south as CT's.
CT has a big advantage on boards and should win that battle.....They are averaging about 15 more per game than OK and have twice as many blocks.
Last year as a 12 pt fav in Storrs CT covered easy and held OK to about 30% shooting...Kelvin Sampson is happy to run and will be in trouble if he runs tonight and lets Huskies take advantage of athleticism.
To WIN tonight CT will have to bring a 40 minute game (not always the case)
Way too many on OK tonight.........I'm taking the points with a team that could easily win outright!

yuck.....I sure hope that UCONN is better than they are showing tonight, because they will be a #9 seed, and first round out in the NCAA tourney......

nope, now that I am over that game....I can honestly say with a clear mind.....that if UCONN doesnt improve A LOT of things over the course of the year, they will be an EARLY out in the NCAA. Fortunaly for them, I think this is a down year for the Big East......UCONN is down, Pitt is down, Providence is down from last year, etc.
