The Pirates are in the midst of a very successful road trip,
having taken 2 out of 3 at Houston and having just won 3
out of 4 at Arizona, including a 16-2 bloodbath yesterday,
They've pushed their road profits for the year to +$600, and
tonight they get to send their best pitcher to the mound as
an underdog against a mediocre opponent. Mark Redman
has looked very sharp in his 6 outings (3.05 ERA) while
the Giants have lost 4 of Brett Tomko's 6 starts (-$205,
4.89 ERA). A nice situation to be taking a solid pitcher
with a hot offense at a nice underdog price.

The White Sox are now on a 8 game winning streak and have now established themselves as the best team in major league baseball. A phenomenal 24-7 start and nothing seems to stop them. Today they place one of the worst teams in the AL, and with one of their aces on the mound, who traditionally owns the D'Rays, this sould be an easy victory for the White Sox.
