Bronson Arroyo has been one of the most consistent hurlers in
baseball thus far, having only allowed more than four earned
runs in four of 14 starts and no more than five earned runs in
any game. He looks to play the role of stopper after the Reds
were swept by the White Sox at home over the weekend. They
should be highly motivated to stop the bleeding. They will be
going against a familiar foe in El Duque, who was tagged for
eight runs and three homers in a May 7 start in Arizona. The
Reds have played better away from the hometown pressure
(20-13) and are 10-3, +$1040 versus righties in night road
games.
