I made a forty dollar ten-game 4 point teaser bet earlier today and was 9 for 9 and needed the Bulls to cover their +8.5 spread. With a few minutes left they were up by three, but thanks to a 14-0 run to end the game I lost 800 dollars... and the remote to my tv.

:nono: Next time hedge! Put 5 or 6 hundred on the other team (the Hornets in this occasion)! Makes it alot easier to watch the game knowing your guarenteed to win either way!

Not trying to get in your business, just a suggestion.

Wow.. That is a really simple idea but it makes a lot of sense. Do you construct your parlays and teasers so that you will have a good chance at hedging or whatever the term is?

I ALWAYS try and do this.... it's not always that easy, but yes, if you have a bunch of early games that you like, instead of using 2 or 3 late games, try and narrow it down to 1. Normally the others won't be finished before the late one starts, but you can always wait and bet at HT. It doesn't always work, but on weekends it's easy to just take ALL the early games you like and parlay/tease to the VERY LAST game. In football, parlay or tease to the MNF game. Then you have a chance to truly hedge the right way, which is split the difference down the middle or 60/40 or whatever.

Good luck! :SIB

2 tough beats last night. Neither team could hold the lead with 4 minutes to go. Tough one. Sorry
