ever since i've started doin early leans, i seem to be in a better groove to cap games, so why mess with something that's working...?

I mean, i haven't had a losing day in 5 days...knock on wood.

here are my early leans:

Arizona over SD
L.A over Milwaukee

we'll see what the lines are...

I know what you mean, it helps to get a feel on these games as soon as you see the lines. BTW I am on several of your plays - they all look nice.

game 1: D-BACKS (-130) great price!!!!
over the PADRES.

SD is 1-6 in Williams seven starts vs. Arizona.
The D'Backs are 7-1 in the last eight meetings.
ARI is 29-14 vs. the NL west.
When Ellis' starts at home, the D'Backs are 5-1.

my stat: SD has a horrible divisional record.
hopefully Arizona pulls this one off.

game 2: SF +110 OVER COLORADO.
yeah,. yeah, Hampton's startin...great.
But COlorado has a very bad record in game 1's off series openers. SF is 22-10 in openers, colorado 10-22
SF is 7-1 in Ortiz's eight starts vs. Colorado. WHo's the hotter team...? Methinks San Fran is as they try to make a run for first place...
even though SF has a poor away record, these are the games they have to win to stay in the hunt.

game 3: MONTREAL/PHILLY OVER 8.5 (-120)
for these two teams, i think that line is a little too low.
The over is 9-3-1 in Montreal's last 13 games overall.
last time, Vasquez got hammered in philly.
look for the same to happen here...and daal should atleast give up about 3.

game 4: fearing Murphy's Law :

taking L.A -1.5 -120 over MIlwaukee

Park should be up for this game, but barring any unforeseen craziness, i'm NOT getting burned by the -180 high chalk.
if L.A doesn't win this game by 2 runs with Park on the mound, they don't deserve to win it at all.
