Cleveland at Kansas City OVER 9

Tomlin vs. Davies
This is the list of pitchers who have logged at least 700 innings starting in
the majors with a career ERA greater than 5.40:

Kyle Davies

In fact, only five pitchers in the history of the game have 700 starting innings
and an ERA greater than 5.00:

Kyle Davies ? 5.54
Jason Bere ? 5.14
Daniel Cabrera ? 5.10
Mike Maroth ? 5.05
Sidney Ponson ? 5.03

No Hall of Famers there. Cleveland?s Josh Tomlin is pitching way too well, with
a WHIP (Walks + Hits per Inning Pitched) of 0.86. It?s gotta rise. Both
offensive lineups rank in the Top 8 of MLB.

BEGINNING WEDNESDAY MAY 18

Colorado at Philadelphia (2) 18th, 19th

Jorge De La Rosa is likely to pitch at Citizens Bank, and that?s good news for the Phillies despite his stellar 3.14 ERA. Philadelphia is 9-1 (+$700) vs. southpaws. PREFERRED: Phillies vs. De La Rosa.

Chicago Cubs at Florida (2) 18th, 19th

The Marlins are profitable vs. righties (+$890), while the Cubs have fared poorly in that situation (-$735, with only 3.4 runs per game). PREFERRED: Marlins when righty meets righty.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (2) 18th, 19th

The Reds have already dropped 3 of 4 to the Pirates (-$425) and Cincinnati has been a losing proposition at Great American Ballpark (-$390). PREFERRED: Pirates in both games.

Washington at N.Y. Mets (2) 18th, 19th

The Mets are 7-3 vs. lefthanders this year (+$500) and should dispatch the Washington lefthanders without much difficulty. PREFERRED: Mets vs. lefthanders.

Houston at St. Louis (2) 18th, 19th

The Cardinals are clearly the superior squad, but they were only 5-10 vs. the Astros in 2010 (-$1325) and they?ve lost money in this ballpark (-$395). We?ll pass for now. PREFERRED: None.

Atlanta at Arizona (2) 18th, 19th

Jair Jurrjens has looked sensational since rejoining the Atlanta rotation (+$335, 1.50 ERA in five starts) and looks like a solid value here at Chase Field. PREFERRED: Jurrjens.

Milwaukee at San Diego (2) 18th, 19th

The Brewers are only 6-15 on the road (-$895) but the Padres are 7-14 here at Petco Park (-$800). PREFERRED: None.

San Francisco at L.A. Dodgers (2) 18th, 19th

The Giants are slumping at the plate (.235 team BA) and their lefthanders could be vulnerable vs. an LA squad that is 6-3 (+$300) vs. southpaws in 2011. PREFERRED: Dodgers vs. lefthanders.

Detroit at Boston (2) 18th, 19th

We?d use the Tigers against a lefthander, but it appears unlikely we?ll get that opportunity. Can?t trust the Red Sox at the moment (only 16-18, -$1105 at the present time). PREFERRED: None.

Tampa Bay at Toronto (2) 18th, 19th

The Rays have been a solid money-maker outside of Tropicana Field (+$895) and Toronto is 10-15 (-$415) against righthanders in 2011. PREFERRED: Righthanders vs. the Blue Jays.

N.Y. Yankees at Baltimore (2) 18th, 19th

The Orioles are winless against New York in four attempts (-$400) and their league worst pitching staff (4.57 ERA) looks like no match for those Yankee bats. PREFERRED: Yankees in both games.

Cleveland at Chicago W. Sox (2) 18th, 19th

The White Sox took 2 of 3 at Progressive Field to start the season, but since then everything has been going Cleveland?s way. They check in with a huge overall profit (+$1445) and should exact some revenge vs. hapless Chicago. PREFERRED: Indians in both games.

Texas at Kansas City (2) 18th, 19th

The Royals are averaging 6.7 runs per game vs. lefthanders so far, and they?ll likely see at least one southpaws when the Rangers visit Kaufman Stadium. PREFERRED: Royals vs. lefthanders.

Minnesota at Oakland (2) 18th, 19th

The A?s took 2 of 3 earlier (+$130) and their team ERA is two full runs lower than Minnesota?s. PREFERRED: Athletics in both games.

L.A. Angels at Seattle (2) 18th, 19th

The Mariners have lost money at Safeco (-$410) and LA checks in with a 9-3 road record vs. righthanders (+$850 with 5.9 runs per game in those contests). PREFERRED: Angels vs. righthanders.
