The Mets make their belated debut, following the cancellation of the Washington series. The Phillies, meanwhile, are fresh off a sweep of Atlanta, their bullpen has been very sharp, and they?re available as huge underdogs against Jacob deGrom tonight. He?s been a terrible betting proposition over the past three seasons (-$2560) and the Mets were big money-burners in 2020 (-$1700 overall). Can?t pass up the home team at this generous price, so stick with them against New York?s ace. PREFERRED: Phillies vs. deGrom.

The White Sox are smarting after getting spanked by the Angels at Anaheim, but that 14-0 record they amassed against lefties in 2020 is too tempting to ignore (+$1405, averaging 7.1 runs per game at the plate). The Seattle rotation is loaded with southpaws and they had a bloated 5.03 ERA last year. We should get a couple of opportunities to use the visitor. PREFERRED: White Sox vs. left-handers.
