UConn (-6.5) over ND

Uconns bigmen starting to play well but they have revenge on their mind based on the beating the Irish gave them in their last match-up. Scary aspect of this game is the strong suit of ND is at guard and that happens to be UConns weakness. Williams has been playing well but with NO other point guard stepping up, he will have to chase Chris Thomas all night without rest. HOWEVER UConn will get a lift because ND runs a three guard line up and that puts Falls on one of the Huskie bigmen. Not that this is a big problem but it will be the cause of some early calls against falls because he plays a slap defense when beaten to the hole. I HATE laying chalk here based on how strong I fell the big east is but the size, revenge and home court advantage favors UConn. ND will try to counter the UConns size with outside shooting. ND does not give up a lot of points but with Boone and Charlie not in a slump the Irish will not be able to get second chance shots. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kellogg play a little better based on his stronger performances at home. Still Williams only help at guard is Brown. Coach will force the game into the paint, home officals will help UConn!

I thought ND plus the 6.5 would prompt a lot on ND money but it appears to be going the other way. Just took ND +8 at pinnacle. I think we see a lot more of Cornetts, Lattimore and Francis tonight while trying to find the hot outside shooter, Quinn, Falls or Thomas. While Nd can't seem to close out the wins, they usually don't lose by this much. GL
