Mizer - whats the scuttlebut up in WNY now that the Sabres traded Hasek?? Are the fans up there upset?

Seems to me they just could not afford his upcoming salary...sorry - this should be on the hockey thread...

TT, haven't really listened to any radio shows since the trade all i know is all the hi-profile medias agreed w/the move,

i for one heard that the sabres offered hasek the 9mil for 1 year, really hard to believe but the word is he wanted to move on and play for a contender. think after they lost to dallas 2 years ago gm darcy regier promised after that season sabres will go all out and trade to make this a much better hockey club--guess what theuy didn't they just traded for guys that would help but no big names--of course, you know what the old saying around here is: there is alway's next year!!

honestly think asabrees did good in shipping hasek, koslov is realluy good and buffalo has 2 great prospects in rochester that could start for any nhl team
