Wasn't expecting Buffalo to be giving 10 points, but still think they cover. Going to post a write-up on the game either tonight or tomorrow. Think it's a solid play, biggest sporting event at this school ever. Going to fill up the arena (8000+). Should win by 15-20, if not more. It's too bad the 3 hottest teams in the MAC are all on the same side of the bracket - Western Mich, Toledo, and Buffalo. Would be nice to see west. mich vs. toledo/buffalo championship. Think whoever wins that side of the bracket wins the MAC.

Of note:

quite coincidently , all teams forced to travel, nobody has stayed home since saturday.

Akrons Andy Hipsher has regressed physically from his back injuries and did not dress saturday. I will attempt to update his status tomorrow. This could make Ball a strong play.

Please don't turn this thread into a pissing contest. I really want your imput on TOMORROWS GAMES. I think we can make some nice coin based on a couple of these lines.

honestly I'm not looking forward to playing Toledo if/when we both advance. Not too worried about Kent State. If I were to make the lines I'd probably put the Toledo game at around a pick-em then western mich probably -7 or 8. Think we have a decent chance at beating Toledo but then our chances dwindle. We only play 8 guys. Three games in three nights is going to be hard on these guys.



Also a note to Hellah if your reading this. In response to your comment on how Toledo came in New York and got 4 players this year. I looked into it and until a couple weeks ago when BJ Walker's mommy made him transfer we only had one scholarship to give to a player next year. We have NO seniors. Anyway we needed a future PG for when Battle leaves. Thats what we got. Wallace Hall, combination guard. Were going to try to play him at the point. Pre-season all american candidate - good player. So yeah thats why Toledo got those recruits not for whatever reason you had about how Buffalo can't recruit for shit. I'm assuming you were talking about basketball not football, but you didnt' really make that clear. If you were talking about football - nvmd. Our football program is horrible I won't argue otherwise.

i think buffalo has a better chance of beating western michigan than they do kent state in the mac tourney. kent would win by 6+ if they met again. i dont think the wmu line would be that high. probably 6 or 6.5. toledo line i would agree with.

mac bracket is set up a little strange.

all the firepower is on one side.

all the defense and experience is on the other.

As of Friday we had sold all but 1,000 tickets. Only 2,000 tickets are being held for students. Considering almost 3,000 showed up for the Kent State game. More are expected to show for this game. Doing some hard math and this stadium is going to be busting at the seems. Whatever tickets don't get sold before the game are going to get gobbled up by students who show up too late for free tickets. There pulling out bleachers on both sides no more kiddie fun area. You can watch the game if you have empire sports. Will get to 8,000 without much of a problem.

Why should not Buffalo's fans get behind this team. This team has gone through a bad start, player suspensions and looked to be heading towards another disasterous year. Then the Bulls caught fire and are clearly the story of the year in the MAC, while along the road paying handsome dividends to their backers.

I'm not quite sure of your agenda sun, so who do you like in tomorrows games?
