Louisville -5.5 over Iowa * small play
Pitino will press.Garcia,Dean,O'Bannon,etc.Iowa is good.Hansen in the middle will help.Pierce,etc tough.Iowa has turnover problems and when they see Cards press think they wear down in Hawaii heat.Close game,small play.[afternoon game]
Will be back for tonites games

NC Charlotte -12 over Rutgers ****
Rutgers is loaded at the gd positions.Shields is there best player and Webb and Douby both start.That is there problem.They have no front line and will start 3 gds.Lama-lama-ding -dong graduated.I'll miss not writing his name.Axanai is gone and Hill there 6'8 bruiser is out with an injury.They have no frontline.Joynes the 6'9 soph who avg 2 pts and 2 bds will start.He weighed 270 lyr but got into shape.Slow,slow.Starting at center is frosh Ollie Bailey.Can rebound but very little offense.
Walters is hurting big time with Hill being out.
Charlotte is loaded.Withers who sat out is one of the best fowards in the nation.An impact player that can score inside or outside.Iti is the 7'0 who should give RU big time problems.Basden,Baldwin are solid gds.Plavich is one of the best shooter in the country.They are so athletic,quick,etc
RU plays good defense.But Chars inside game is so good and RU has none.Will be overmatched.

Princeton -2.5 over Wyoming **
Tigers had Cuse with 8 minuts to go.Same old style of offense.Back door,screens,etc.Wallace inside is tough.Venable and Owens can score.Scott the former AF coach played Wyoming 9 times the past few yrs.He knows them well.
Cowboys went out and recruited 6 juco players.Some of them pretty good.They have 8 new players.None of them have ever seen a Princeton offense.Most juco players need a yr to adjust to playing defense.I might be able to score if Coach Scott put me in on a backdoor cut.
The theme song tonite could be "you got me going in circles". [who recorded that..forgot?]

Miami +8 over Xavier *
Temple +1.5 over Georgetown *

Fifth Dimension...w/ you on charlotte & princeton, also taking no caro-12.5/byu, tenn-1/stan, mia-o+8/xav...lotsa folks on winthrop+8.5 but don't know a thing about them...very happy hoop season is back, foots were killing me...gl, caper

Ga Tech is inviting. Took Yale +27 over Wake *
Last 2 yrs Wake beat Yale 86-61 and 73-61.
So we know Yale will score 61 pts tonite.Think Wake scores 81.I like that. 81-61. Small play.

stomie.. I put Ga Tech,Oregon and Kent in a small parlay..not big plays.
It's my daughters 16th birthday today.I'm about to go take 9 girls to Applebee's.
My wife said "pay attention to the kids and party tonite." She forgot,Applebee's has those big TV screens. But I won't peek.. GL

yup, got the album (vinyl 33 1/3 !!) somewhere, but now i remember somebody like billy preston did an uptempo tune w/ "go'in in circles round n' round" in the title...sorry, this is a hoops forum, got carried away...no duke for me, can never get them right w/ the #, but a small play on hewitt's techies...sweet 16, now the box starts getting grey hair (if you don't already have it from coaching)...gl, caper
