249-267-3(-10.35 Units) Overall
39-34(+4.90 Units) w/Best Bets
4-6(-2.00 Units) on Sunday

Philadelphia Phillies +105(Best Bet)*
OVER 7.5(Milwaukee Brewers@Pittsburgh Pirates)
Miami Marlins +165
Atlanta Braves -130
UNDER 7(Houston Astros@Chicago White Sox)
Minnesota Twins -105
Los Angeles Dodgers -.5(-120)-1st 5 innings

*-I know I said last week that I would not bet on the Phillies again this season but as much as I hate too admit it I really like'em in this spot. This is a re-match of starters in a game played just 5 days ago in which the Phillies got a RARE win 5-4. Cole Hamels is auditioning for teams that are looking for starting rotation help so I believe he will have a good outing. The #'s also suggest the Phils are worth a shot tonight:

Hamels is 10-0 with a 1.45ERA against the Reds lifetime
Phillies are 14-0 Overall in Hamels starts against the Reds
Leake is 1-3 with a 6.43ERA against the Phillies lifetime
Reds are 1-6 Overall in Leakes starts against the Phillies
Leake has lost his last 4 starts & is just 1-4 with a 6.91ERA @ Home this season.

Should have never said never...Betting on the "Hapless" Phillies just one week after I said I would not.

Best of Luck This Week MadJackers!!! :0008

D2 I'm reading your thoughts on philly and laughing b/c I was going to post the same thing last night after they burned me against the g-men. For the past 3 seasons no matter if I play them or fade them they always hurt me. I even told my wife who's from Philly to remind me NEVER to play Philly or against EVER again, yet I keep doing it. They are looking like my POD tonight, and I will prob go against my word again. But as you stated, those numbers are almost too good to fade. Anyways BOL to you!

I know we all have different ways of capping games. We go by trends, stats, line movements, weather etc. There's no way of capping everything perfectly. I respect everyone here on the forum with the insight given each and everyday. Sometimes we are on the right side, and sometimes we are on the wrong side. But there's no doubt that we will get it all back.

But this Philly team has hurt me through out the whole season. And tonight I just picked my spot against them with the batting averages that the reds has had against hamels. (I'm not trying to put gas on the fire or put anyone down here ) best of luck guys.
