Watch montreal first game last night.I will try to put some notes up on the team i follow thru the season, when time allows.

Took montreal and the over and was going to go to bed after 7 when florida was winning 6-1, glad i staid up.A very fun to watch game.

Just taught i would give you guys a small recap on what i sow.

Montreal coach, Frank Robinson, is very agressive both on defense and offense. He doesn't mind filling the bases to force the play and expect lots of "run and hit" and more "stolen bases".
At the end montreal should score more points this year.

The new carpet in the big O is making strange bouces and expect more errors and more points coming out of this. Montreal will adjust but opponents should be surprise by a fast carpet making hight bouces.

Florida has no relief pitcher what so ever.
This team will blow leads all season.
they lost a 6-1 lead after a great performance from their starter that they kept in there too long.

relief is really bad for florida.
said it yesturday and again today.

Will play many over against "power off" and not many consecutive wins in such case.

Montreal didn't quit and they did produce points again.
Robinson will be an off oriented coach

Penny was especially tough on the Expos in 2001, going 4-0 in as many starts with one
complete games and a minuscule 0.30 ERA.
Over 30 innings, he allowed only one run on 16 hits while walking five and fanning 28. Lifetime, Penny is 5-0 versus Montreal.
In his only start against the Marlins last season, Pavano earned the win with 7 1/3 innings
of six-hit, two-run ball. He walked three and struck out eight. For his career, Pavano is 2-1
versus Florida.

The way I see this one, Penny should be in for at least 7 innings but I also see Pavano having a good game.
I just don't like the relief for Florida but I think both starters will perform:
I don't like 3 over in a row in this serie, both team have been very opportunistic on offense.
Bergeron is producing on offense and thats a good sign for montreal, they had a great run when he did so last july.
Vidro is still not 100%

So I will take Montreal and the under.

the entire world knows that the expos won't be in montreal after this year. yet they still spent all that money to put in new turf?
