apparently youve missed the quality of football being played on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday. the fact that this conference is getting more than one automatic bowl bid is a joke.

your reply in another thread regarding the cmu-nIU game helped me make one of my biggest plays of the year. thanks.. with my style being contrarian, I was not surprised at all with the play of CMU. Like you said, NIU's offensive talent was still there with Wolfe etc, except we didn't know what was going on with the motivation with that team. What we saw was a team that got embarassed last week as double digit faves on national tv then coming back in this game showing that they still had something left in them. Perhaps if NIU was really motivated to play at peak levels throughout the whole season, then they would be the one playing for the MAC title....
