While checking the Australian open lines I noticed my man had a an interesting number on Roddick vs Belucci. Bellucci was a strong -900 while poor Roddick was a miracle longshot of +1700. Of course I immediately fired a $1 pellet and waited anxiously for my $1700 dollar profit. It took my mans website until the 2nd game of the 3rd set before I checked the site to fire on the San Jose Sharks for some late NHL action and I received a message stating that due to an incorrect line my wager would be deleted. What a pile of rubbish. Should I call my man, the police, or the better business bureau to complain? Oh yeah, Im screwed no matter what. Word to the wise. Dont bet on sports. Its impossible to outrun the man. I wonder if Belucci had won would he have subtracted a dollar from my total or informed me that there had been an incorrect line? My guess is it would have cost me a hundred. Garbage. I guess the lesson is that even when you know the line is a mistake its still gonna take a miracle for you to beat the book.

Easy one.

When you see a bad line, call the book. Often they'll appreciate the call enough to credit your account a little. You've saved them some inconvenience. You never win playing a bad line.

I"ve been there

I"ve been there

Whenever you see a line that is OBVIOUSLY wrong... rest assured you ain't gonna get paidl Them ain't THAT easy.

Re: jng's reply

I won't name the book, but one time around 5 A.M. I saw a line that was WAY out of whack. you know, bass ackwards.

I didn't call them but I did want to play that game. Knowing that they gotta fix the line before I do... I just shot them a "high priority" email informing them about fixing their typo.

Yeah, they fixed it .. but not even a "thank you" reply or nuthin. If you're looking for a compassionate book, check out Caribe. I like to play parlays and they are too strict with the rules for those (for me anyway), but they will show compassion to their clients and work with you.
