Freeze,

It's nice to see that you can find the humor and the irony in the fact that things also can be dangerous here in the states.

Obviously your (as always) misguided point is that our troops can be harmed right here, in the good ol' states, just like any other citizen could be. I think that your 'point' is sickening, comparing what our guys are going through in Iraq to some marines in civilian clothes being randomly attacked just like thousands of others every day in the USA.

Please post links of all of the other folks in the US that get attacked ramdomly. Thanks.

You wouldn't have enough time in the day to do this, so perhaps you should concentrate only on our troops in Iraq that are getting picked off at a rate of a couple a day. And for what?

Also, I realize that you are mocking those who think that these daily 'few' guys that we are losing are a 'few' too many , and you want to compare this to our everyday problems here. It's easy for you to sit there and do this.

Why again are we losing young men daily and that this will continue for years?

WMD? Nah.

Liberation? Weird how the rightest oif wings suddenly feel empathy for Iraqi civilians.

I read where you mentioned cheap gas before as the reason and that you agreed with it. Yeah, maybe. I hope you can sleep at night you spoiled f*ck.

NO dumbass I do not find any humor whatsoever

I am trying to point out to misguided morons like you who have to constantly remind everyone how aweful the troops are doing over there in spite of the fact that we went over there and KICKED THERE ASS and have only lost troops in the hundreds.

All the while removing your boy Saddam Hussein and restoring our credibility in the world which is by far the greatest thing this war has accomplished because it protects your and my freedom!!!!!

But you leftists always seem to find the storm in the midst of victory don't you!!!! Never can be proud to be an American. There is always something wrong with that. Such a narcissistic person you are Kosar!!!!

But oh, you can judge a man's heart!!! Telling me how I am MOCKING the troops when I as you probably do have friends over there.

And YES we helped our economy out with liberating the oil reserves from a cruel dictator who sought to control the world's supply....CERTAINLY that would not be a reason to go after him??? What a materialist I am!!! That Madman with the world's control of oil would only cost millions, perhaps BILLIONS of lives!!!!

But oh....how does it impact me and you right now??? Gas is cheaper!!! And if I am happy about that I am a spoiled f*ck???

No.....YOU are a spoiled f*ck. You take what we have for granted. With people like you around, we would have dug a hole in the ground and let the Japs run wild over us 60 years ago. No my friend...thankfully we had STRONG men and women who did not fear death (one of which is my Grandpa who recently got his bronze star -- he didn't feel like he earned one as not all of his men came back alive so he never returned the letter).

You however, come from a world where everyone is your friend. You are like a fat cow grazing in the pasture. Eating to your heart's content unaware of what is going to happen in your future. You are what is wrong with America. You have no foresight into what we must do to defend the country. You are not able to connect the dots and realize that appeasing evil dictators does not work. You do not realize that you can not bargain in good faith with some people around the globe. You do not realize that some people only understand one thing and that is power and might.

And you know what? No matter how often you are taught your lesson....you will never change. So really there is no point in responding to you. You are a lost cause.

Is this really the point of your original post? This drivel is the closest thing I can find to an answer.

Freeze,

I realize that you're a neophyte when it comes to anything military, but nobody had ever said that our troops performance was awful. In fact, almost every single post that i've made on this subject has been from the perspective of the soldier. Our military has performed outstanding, as it always has. Simply amazing. Computers can only do so much, but in the end, it's the people that determine how sucessful any campaign will be. And as always, our soldiers, airmen, marines and sailors performed beyond incredibly.

That doesn't change the fact that not only was there no real reason behind this occupation(your point about your cheaper stolen gas noted), but it also took our focus and resources away from Al Queda at the exact time that we had them on the run.

Now, by all accounts, Al Queda has regrouped. Do you see them more of a threat to our country than Saddam was? And do you think that we switched priorities midstream, for 'whatever' reasons?

Kosar Iraq was a easy target for us. Bush and his gang new this from what was learned in 91 war. Easy to look good and play cowboy. But with no end plan we lose guys for nothing. You will not see him play cowboy with N Korea. Im sure he has reports that deaths would be in the 1000's. He likes playing President so N Korea is off schedule till he can get re-elected. Then god help us he may start something there. Mean while Bin gets ready to screw around with us some more. At least those are reports from Bush's own staff. And good old Saudi they just keep looking the other way with a free pass.

Props to Clinton..........Hey, I?m perfectly willing to give credit to Bill Clinton when its due. He appeared on Larry King Live recently and addressed the issue of whether or not Hussein had any of those ugly weapons around in violation of his agreement with the U.N. Clinton said: "When I left office, there was a substantial amount of biological and chemical material unaccounted for . . . it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks . . . "

America is under attack. Terrorism has not been defeated ? wounded, perhaps, but not defeated. You can only imagine how some terrorist organization would have loved to have gotten its hands on some of these weapons. How dare George Bush move to enforce the U.N. sanctions that Saddam Hussein had ignored for 12 years?
