There is no shame. Some of us old school guys know the meaning of the word. You can't have shame without a conscience, soul or heart. It's a shame we allow ourselves to be governed by shameless disconnected creatures.

Everyone says that 9/11 is the most tragic date in the US history & while it was a tragedy & horrible ordeal unquestionably, it pales in comparison to the day this country elected GW Bush into office. That could be the blackest day in our history or was it the day that the public was so stupid & mindless it did it again 4 years later.

Oh wait they didnt, the GOP stole that election down in Florida....that's a whole different story though.

I will give the GOP one thing their propaganda & lies rival the levels of Hitler's Nazi Germany.

Great quote from "old schoo; guy" from NY.

--but the fact of the matter is the "old school" liberals were all flying flags after 911--NY sold out in a day--a few years of calm and they're brain dead again-- until next time.

Gary Soilders and civilians die in war--it is nature of the beast.

On civilian casualties--I have a question--why do you consider those during the war worse than those before the war or those that would follow our leaving.

I would consider them just the opposite--my reasoning is they prevented the holocasts of Saddam from ever occuring again--and could prevent more of same in future-- pending outcome.

Wayne: I am aware that soldiers and civilians die in war. But this is OUR war and the number Iraqi civilian casualties is absolutely unbelievable. As I mentioned, I think it is incredible to think that Iraq has lost between 650,000 and 1,000,000 and you think the media doesn't focus on all the "positives" (blue thumbs, etc.). I think that's ridiculous. Does FOX have any updated versions of that propaganda video you posted about six months ago?

We are devastating this country, not helping it.

The word on "Meet the Press" yesterday is that we could be in Iraq for TEN more YEARS.What AMERICAN in their right mind would have agreed to a 14 yr War in the Middle East.

As to the cost of war for Iraqi's- Saddam( yes he's a bad guy) was killing about 5 to 6 thousand a Year- this war as resulted in 650,000 to a million Iraqi's dead. How is this a good deal for them?

Did you know that 4 million Iraqi's are refugee's or displaced from there homes . How is this building love for America?
I would say it isnt!!!

I would also think it incredible if they lost beteen 650,000 and a million--however the only people coming up with those #'s are liberal blogs.

Here pdf file I can't cut and paste but short read and has projections of several sources on matter--

DTB : You don't like what I post because your guy has the white house. When I said what I said about shame, it was for all most, all America want to be political leaders. It was for both sides of the aisle. You don't take the time and think, all you do is react and defend. You can't defend the Last two terms of OUR PRESIDENT ! None of us can defend the last 20 yrs of political leadership of any kind. You want to paint me as a liberal. The first time I registered to vote I registered as a conservative. I voted for Reagan. I have never voted for a democrat for president but I can SEEEEEEEE what my party is right now. You may not see it but that doesn't mean it is not what it is. So the democrats suck, I agree ! Does that make it right for us to suck too ? Please don't try to use me to further your bull shit ! Do you read ? Do you ever respond to the quote you spawn off ? I guess I have to type slow for you, you don't get it ! You seem to be a product of the system you try so hard to protect.

Sponge,
I have been on this site for many years, mostly for what it was to be used for...sports handicapping. I have come to the conclusion that you are completly blinded by your hatered. Wow, it must be really lonely for you in Cin. With all of your one sided boardline crazy, hate filled comments. I too am glad that you don't have children to raise as singled minded "puppets." I don't believe all that I hear on the news, as I don't listen to all of the nonsense that is spewed on way out web sites. Be open minded. That is what I teach my kids.

Get out once in awhile.

This propaganda is over the top. :thefinger

Well the American public & the world for that matter, has been in school for the last 7 years learning the art of propaganda from this President & his administration.

Why not make use of it right? They sure have.

I live in the real world cous and not some fantasy land you seem to live in. If someone wants to attack me be prepared to get it back. You teach your kids to be open-minded:mj07: :mj07: I look for the truth and expose the ugly. If you can't deal with it then call someone that cares. If it wasn't for guys like me guys like you would get eatin alive. Sometimes i just wish everyone that fought the good fight just up and left and then we see how a guy like you would deal with the new world on hand. Hopefully it would smarten ya up but i think it would be to late.

In march 2003 76% of American people did approve of the decision to go to war with Iraq. Acording to Gallop.

Everybody is a arm chair qb, after the fact.

As far as the world opinion, they were not attacked. If you think they have our best intrest in mind your wrong, but I'm sure you know that already.

My point is Sponge is way out of line with his outlandish post.

Thankfully we have the right to express these opinions. Unlike many around the world.

Show me where i lied neckbone. 76 percent wanted to go to war because we were just attacked and kept getting bullshitted into thinking Saddam caused it. Me a guy who was in the 24 percent knew this was a con job right from the get go. You call it hate i call it common sense. Its the Bush family history and maybe you should teach your kids about it.
