They are calling for 18-22 inches here in central Mo. With wind gusts to 45mph. We've already got 3 foot drifts. I may not make it to work until next week.

Calling for "only" 18 inches here in Eastern Iowa. Winds are just as strong here as there in Mo. Visibility is less than a 1/4 mile and the roads are already horrible and we've only got 3-4 inches so far....

They just closed I-70 from KC to St. Louis. Heard they already have 18-24" in parts of central Mo., and we got atleast 6 more hours of it to go.

Moberly, MO is expecting 27" Areas near Quincy 30" and Warrensburg and Sedalia about 2 feet. KC Metro area only getting 1 to 1.5 feet in general, but it's still a lot. Driving in this stuff was fun!:popcorn2 Watching all the cars trapped on the side of the road:0003

Just got the call ..school closed...that 2 days in a row..we have sleet and ice tonite and tomr..snow during the day.. we have just under 2 feet in my yard...tonite its 19 degrees..that's not bad...last week it was in the single digits everyday...early am it was below zero...we had 6 inches today....my wife had to leave the house at 6.00am to do her 12 hour shift..she wanted to drive the van which we hadn't used since x-mas....it had 5 snow storms on it since I never took the snow off..then freezing, more snow...it took me 40 minutes to start it up and take all the snow off..I have been doing this since 5.15 am...by 6.00 am the van is warm and most of the snow is off...I shovel a path for her so she can just get in the van and drive off...its snowing like crazy with poor visabilty...she thanks me and then says" there is no gas"... the gas light is on..its almost all empty...I tell her to stop at the gas station and put $10 in the tank....I get a nasty look on her face as she drives off...wow...froze my butt getting her the van....and she drove it last when my Texas crew was up for christmas...
well no school tomr...again...everyone stay warm...tired of shoveling

Just heard tomorrow will be the coldest day in 20 years here in Fort Worth, 8 degrees.

I made to work today no problem....Had rolling power outages here today...school out for the third day in a row.

I'm drinking Crown and Loving every minute of it...
