Don't know if they ever canceled a full card but I have been there when they canceled several afternoon races because of storms.
I think the legislature dictates what their racing dates are and would be pretty tough to add a Tues. on short notice because the condition book is out for some time.

Dan, was sitting here watching the weather and I do remember they cancelled the whole card because it was so hot. I believe the heat index was over 100. It was one or two days last year.
I was about to post that. I also remember that the restaurant in Saratoga I was cooking at at the time did NOT close and the kitchen did not have A/C. I wish I had passed out and broke something so I could sue those bastards.
Weather satellite provided by the DRF says you guys will get showers overnight and a good possible all day. Not too hot, but unbearably muggy-muggy. Pharoah, did you go to Skidmore or are you a prfsnl cook?
Nah I used to work summers while I was an undergrad at UB (buffalo). I wanted to come home every summer and I had the job in h.s. so they were flexible about me working summers. Pay wasn't bad for a college kid either.
Supposed to get hammered with gale force winds and torrential downpours tonite and thru most of the AM. 9pm now and nothing yet. They really haven't been right too often.
