Love seeing Morrison and Redick go home early.

its funny how people can never be happy. when black guys are running around and jumping on the scorers table and acting like idiots after a sweet 16 win, they are whats wrong with basketball. now for once white america actually has two guys that are capable of excelling in a black guys game -- and that same white american is trying to bring morrison and redick down and taking satisfaction in their loss. i certainly dont care for duke, nor am i a gonzaga fan. but its a little puzzling how some guys take such satisfaction in seeing white guys with actual talent fail .... and then go on to complain about how they cant stand what the nba game has become.

Look how nthey act GMan

Morrision chest beating and all that crap. Crying when the game isnt even over yet. Yelling at his teammates and acting like a ballhog. Then I heard an interview with him and that was all she wrote.

Redick - bottom line is he fails when it matters. 4 for 4.

Can the guys play. Absolutely. But I dont see why we need to like them, or why their race has anything to do with it.

Just a man who gives his heart and soul into
winning and to lose like they did.... I cant blame
him for being emotional... the games about
emotion and I love playing with people who have
it... I would go to war with Morrison anyday of
the week.... We'll see him in the pro's and he
will be an all-star.... It's easy to bash a man
after a tough lose.... Keep ya head up Adam...
you have earned my total respect....

Good luck and kick ass

this is one of those topics that could never be properly handled on a message board. its one of those topics thats best discussed over beers and when youre just shooting the shit.

its not that im saying that we have to like redick or morrison just because theyre white.

i just tend to find it interesting that a good handful of people continually bash the nba, saying what a garbage league its become and how its all athleticism and no basketball skill. and it goes without saying that a lot of those people saying that are white.

so this year, college basketball actually had two white guys who had legit game. was redick overrated? absolutely. hes not nearly as good as people made him out to be. but he'll definitely have a place in the nba. morrison should turn out to be a sczerbiak-type player, and i dont think theres anything wrong with that.

im just surprised so many people (not you, because i certainly know where you stand) are rooting for these guys to fail, or at least taking open satisfaction in seeing these teams bounced.

duke i can understand to a point.

but not gonzaga. the zags would be absolute dogshit without morrison.

No i'm not kidding...the man has a little
heart.... damn, who wants to play for
a guy like that....He did suck it up and
do something at the end but the guy
throwing the inbounds threw it down
court toward the basket... Morrison was
trying to get open for a shot but cant
shoot unless it's passed to him....I dont
guess you have ever give your heart and soul
into a ballgame and lose like that...I know I have
and you can call me a pussy or whatever....
but the game needs emotion and I for one
enjoy watching people who play with it....

Good luck and kick ass

They were down 2 with 2 seconds left and Morrision wouldnt have been able to see the basket to hit a shot with the tears in his eyes. He decided the game was already over - sounds like a quitter, not a winner.

But you knew it was coming when he celebratedby jumping on the scorer's table winning the conference tournament at home by 1 point against a team with a losing record.

For some people.............no matter what Morrison or Redick would have done they would have criticized them........

I see 2 players who led their teams to wins in 61 of 68 games without a whole helluva lot of scoring talent surrounding them

Pretty impressive if you ask me.........

yeah

guys who are on the verge of tears before the game is over are guys i want on my team????????

there was time on the clock........instead of focusing on HOW TO WIN......the guy was crying because HE WAS SCARED TO LOSE

as much as i hate duke.....didnt they beat kentucky in a similar fashion????? were any of there guys crying on the court before the end of the game

there are other countless length of the court buzzer beaters in the tourney.....were ANY of those guys on the court, leaders, POY candidates.....CRYING BEFORE THE GAME ENDED?????

a joke.....a mental midget and emotional mess

breakdown after the game
