and yet the Zags will score more than 80 in this game. Wow. Is Indiana's defense really this bad?

They have out scored Indiana 22 - 2 in free throws pretty hard to over come that.

I understand what you guys are saying. My point was that if Adam Morrison is having a terrible night there is no way in hell Gonzaga should be lighting up the scoreboard against you. They really aren't that good. There's really no excuse for the Bulldogs to score more than SEVENTY points against you not counting Morrison's output. And to think I almost bet on Indy. Wow...

Depending on the line, UCLA over Gonzaga might be one of my biggest bets of the year. They should outclass them in a big way.

Glen - I don't know now... Gonzaga looks like they're playing with a purpose. Trust me, I love UCLA, but Gonzaga impressed me today...

Well like I said it would depend on the line. But the thing is I live in Washington so I see the Zags play all the time. They looked much better than usual tonight, and I'm not sure how much of that was them being good and how much of it was Indiana just not being a very good team. I'm not much of a believer in the Zags this year and I don't see them being able to stop Farmar or Afflalo. I've been wrong before though...

So. Cal.
Morrison didnt have a horrible night, he finally had a lot of help. 6 guys in double figures..also Ind. had more 3 pointers made than 2 pt. fld goals...Gonzaga only had 2 3's made...They killed them down low

Yeah he did. He was 5-17 from the field. I think he would be the first person to admit he had a bad game. I give the Zags credit for sucking it up and getting a win when their best player had an off night, but I think Indiana has to get part of the blame too.

i'm here

if xavier doesnt self implode in the last 3 minutes the cute little zags would have been out in round 1

it's always about matchups and in this pod

i liked xav over gonz
ind over sdsu

but if gonz beat xav...i liked sdsu chances better vs gonz than indiana

i'm hoping for a low line in that ucla-gonz game because i think ucla lays the wood

GJN - I respect your opinion, but you could say that about a lot of teams. SDS gave the game to IU, the same with Boston C./Pacific, etc... Good teams pull out ugly wins. I love UCLA, I have them in the championship game in my bracket, but I was impressed with Gonzaga tonight.

I'll take the pts, not impressed at all by that ucla showing vs a undermanned bama team. zags have treated me well two covers.

I had Xavier beating Gonzaga outright too gjn. Perfect example of a team who barely made the tourney crapping the bed when they realize they actually have a legit shot of knocking off a much lower seed. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the line for the Zag/UCLA game.

hammer them

Wow. That sucks. I was really hoping to see it around 3. I'm not saying it SHOULD be 3, but based on the 2 vs. 3 seed aspect I thought it might be around that. I was also thinking I would bet UCLA if the line was -5 or less, but I don't think I'll be loading up on them quite as much as I had thought. You're right though, I definitely think they are the play.
