obvious one in my opinion is NIU/FSU and has been discussed on here in other threads.

when's the last time SDST made a bowl game? They're probably pretty jacked to cap off their season with a W while BYU had a fairly mediocre year

Washington could come out deflated a little after losing the Wazzou game

UCLA loses back to back games after being on an all-time high beating USC. Baylor been playing really good football lately. Not sure if Jim has any Mora motivational speeches left

Vandy > NCST. Coaching change and motivation

Is Bielema coaching Wisconsin in their bowl game? Not sure if that would be a good or bad thing to begin with, but Stanford is on a mission.

Only other one I have an opinion about is Texas A&M. Probably the team with the most to prove in their bowl game of everyone except NIU.

Bielema not coaching Badgers. College Football Hall of Fame coach and current AD Barry Alvarez is coming back to coach the Rose Bowl. He was asked by team captains and said yes. Barry is 3-0 in Rose Bowls, a no nonsense intense coach. Badger nation is excited and the players are excited.

One thing for the trojans though is that most of the kids havnt played in a bowl because of their past banning. Will they be excited? Or disappointed it wasnt a better bowl?

Pitt is pumped bc Chryst is staying and the kids love him. And also we have had 6 coaches in 3 years.

I do not think that Georgia is going to give full effort in their bowl game.

Disappointment and not wanting to get players hurt that are going to the next level should do it.

Murray has not said if he is leaving yet. I think he has one more year eligibility. He will not be a high round draft pick at any rate.

maybe if he could have just stuck that last pass into the end zone for a TD

Good thread. Motivation is very hard to cap in the bowl games.

and it means the differance in a winning wager

I am thinking Wisconsin will be motivated. Alvarez getting paid $118,000 to coach the Rose Bowl with a $50,000 bonus if he wins, so I am guessing he will have them ready to go. Juniors and seniors have lost the past 2 Rose Bowls, so I am sure they don't want to be known as the team that lost 3 in a row.

Not sure about all this talk with No. Ill/ FSU. About twenty years ago.... Illinois went to a bowl against E Carolina. They were a big favorite and A LOT of people had E car because the Big 10 team wouldn't be happy to be there.

They weren't happy to be there, BUT they sure didn't want to end their season with a loss. Ilini 30-0

There is a pride issue and a coach has to inspire them. While most people give kudos to No. Ill. I don't think FSU will take them lightly.

Just another slant.

Exactly. Pitt will be playing with the coach they started the season with for the first time in about 4 years. They will win big.

This is going to be a tough game. Third time will be the charm. I don't think the seniors on the team want to go out like Crybaby JJ did.
