Because its a homey play for me and I'll be rooting for Orlovsky to have a big game. I believe he is among the best qb's in the land.....he's had a good year........3000+ yds but not nearly as good as last which even the great Gradowski couldnt match. Orlovsky may even be among the first qb's drafted this year...............NOW..........Why CT..
MUCH BETTER D....and the D will BE SKY HIGH...
Senior Tyler King 6'5" 265 returns today at DE after missing last 6 games..he's good...broke his leg in W over Pitt where he was giving Pitt" Big 6'6, 330lb All American Rob Petitti Petitti fits. Plus he is the emotional leader of this team...All played to get Tyler 1 more game...so ....broken hand or not Toledo will NOT have an emotional edge here.............1st Bowl game ever also....spells adrenelin.
CT linebackers Fincher and Lloyd are also big, strong and very emotional...250 combined tackles
NFL will be watching both...especially Fincher...
Justin Perkins is the CT cover man who will be taking on Toledo's L Moore.....He has 4 picks this year and is = to that task...Don't know who Toledo has to stop Orlovsky to Henry..
THEN there is Cornell Brockington 1150 yds at 5.14per running behind an experienced and good offensive line.

I do not see a shootout and CT D.... IS....taking that idea personally......Coach Edsel also implies ...no shootout.....can they STOP ????? We'll see..
Oh, Ct D gave up 81 points in 5 games before King went out..160 + in 6 after he went out including shutout of Buffalo....D should IMPROVE off recent play and Gradowski will get to meet Tyler King. I'll take the points in what should be a good close game..Slight edge to CT.

linemaker had uconn 13 points better during regular season, why is toledo giving points now.

Looks good so far for CT
I sure would not play against CT in half 2.......BUT.....
I can see Randy Edsel emptying the bench in the fourth quarter to give many a chance to play in CT's 1st bowl game if this continues....maybe some late scoring gives Toledo the second half.
They are NOT as good as CT so far and its a matter of Defense . ALSO........CT MVP for the first half .....my vote for 5'6" Larry Taylor.
