Just got done reviewing this game and this spread seems about a TD heavy IMO. Mount Union won this game 35-16 last year and it appears UW-Whitewater is improved this season. Wisky Whitewater lost 35-28 to Mount Union the previous season. This game should be closer than the point spread IMO. Whitewater should be hungry and Mount Union might be overconfident IMO.

Mount Union 31 UW-Whitewater 20 - I believe this game will be closer than the oddsmakers as Whitewater might not be as athletic, but they should come ready and prepared.

UW-Whitewater +20 for 10* - Laying off the 1st half.

Good luck with your play d. I live 20 minutes from whitewater and i am buisness partners with a former player on the team. I have seen whitewater alot this season and i think they come out prepared to play. My partner talked to some the players this week as he remains close with alot of the members on the team, and he tells me they seem more prepared and more confident this season. There new coach has them believing they can get it done. They defenetly dont have the talent mt union does but 20 points is too many. Whitewater running back joe beaver is a stud and his backup is pretty decent too. Oline is very solid, and as long as qb danny jones doesnt make mistakes (which he hasnt in the second have of the season) whitewater will make a game of it.

Whitewater wants to run the ball(only throw about 15-20 times a game).
Mnt Un. has given up 252 yards on 168 carries in its last 5 games.
On the season Mount Union has given up 339 yards on 459 carries for a .7 yard per carry average.
The closest anyone came to Mount this season is 24 points. 42-18. They had shutouts in 8 out a 9 game stretch this season. Gave up 3 in the one that was not a shutout.

Call me crazy, but this all adds up to a play on Mount Union(-19)

Thanks. What do you think about the total?

If it hits 56 I'm jumping the under.

I took the OVER 26 because Mount Union scores early and often on teams.
I do think UW-W will be able to run the ball better than anyone else all season on Mount, but that wont be hard to do. If they cant then the final will be 52-10 or something. UW-W wont move the ball passing. We all know that.

Mount Union -12 1ST HALF

I read an article earlier in the week that said Mount Union has outscored opponents 284-6 in the first quarter.

I live 2 minutes from MUC campus. You can throw out all scores from previous years.

Weather may be the only way UWW can cover this. This is coach Kehres best EVER at MT. UNION:scared Total isnt really a cosideration here.
Snow & wind cause Mt. Union a few turnovers then UWW has a chance(to cover) ~ but MT. Union has better running game than UWW & MT. Union run defense is AWESOME.

(-19) in a championship game?? can feels like S.F./S.D. Super Bowl a few years back.

Mt. Union 38
UWW 13

Well Whitewater is winning 7-0 with 2 minutes left in the 1st quarter. I can see Whitewater's passing game is terrible, but they should keep this game competitive IMO.

You guys make Mount Union sound like they have the '85 Bears defense and the '07 Patriots offense.

DD, and others.....does this set up as a possible 2H play for Mt Union....are you thinking of hedging and looking for a middle?

Oh, and to drop a little CBB in this thread......looks like los lobos was the right call.....still plenty of time , though!!!

No chance of a Union cover at this point.
They are playing terrible thus far.
Turnovers, short punts, and giving up big plays.

I think they are asking for Mt Union money by not putting it at -7.5....

12/15/2007 5:42 PM Spread 400.00 420.00 Football - 295 UW Whitewater (Football Division III) +7 +105 for 2nd Half

I hate chasing lost money, but I gotta play Mount Un. -7

Mistakes have been the biggest problem. They have moved the ball, just bog down inside the 35.

I thought about trying for the middle, but I love how Beaver is destroying Mount Union and just let my dime ride.:0corn

Mount Union can still win this game, but I highly doubt they cover.

I have never seen a team have such a hard time getting on a fumble. Mount Union has had many chances to recover loose balls and have come away with NONE of them.
