The plot:
Billionaire is a swindler. (Alan Alda)
The staff of "The Tower" has the Billionaire invest their pensions to hopefully double or triple their retirement.
The staff finds out he is a swindler and they attempt to get at his money in a safe in his penthouse while he is being brought before a judge.
This movie is a fun rental and a mediocre movie experience. The people that will have the most fun with this movie are families with teenage kids. This is a Thanksgiving/Holiday type movie for familes and it is just that.
Eddie Murphy should be doing way better movies than this.
Ben Stiller's character is flat.
Oh and by the way - you remember this chick?
She looks awfuil in this movie - like a cocktail waitress on a oil rig. Not sure what happened to her.....:shrug:
Matthew Brodrick's character is a dweeb and he deserves a better role.
Bottom Line: This has a few laugh outloud moments, but not many.
I will say this - It is fucking great to see Alan Alda on screen again. :0074 :0074
