The Ring scared the piss out of me. I saw it with my wife and a buddy of mine, and when we all came home and opened the door, the phone rang and scared me and my buddy to death.....and then turned around and saw my wife on her cell phone laughing. Women are the death of men.:D

The Island of Manhattan
"Salems Lot" by Stephen King was pretty spooky

"Thirteen Ghosts" is another one

The scariest movies for me all time in no particular order

1. The Amityville Horror
2. The Exorcist
3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
4. An American Werewolf in London
5. Phantasm
6. The Omen

Alien and American Werewolf in London. Though the latter had some funny moments too like the movie theater scene, I could never open curtains the same after this movie. :scared

"the bunker"
not a movie

not a movie

but,i just read dean koontz` last book,"THE FACE"......the bad guy in that is realistic and one of the scariest s.o.b.`s in any book i`ve ever read....and i`ve read a few.....what makes him scary is that he could exist....somebody like that could exist.....

this guy is off the charts..when the protagonist is this scary, the book is almost always interesting..read it...a well written book...
