MRI--

Going in for an MRI tomorrow on my neck. Had problems with it for 8 months. Hate MRI's. Praying it goes well and nothing big is detected.

I cant do the small tude MRI, I get claustrophobic.... Had one a couple years ago in a Open Air Machine, piece of cake....:0074

Tell your MD that you have anxiety every time u have a MRI, and he will probably order you a one time dose of Valium.
I can't stand them either, and I have had multiple over the years :facepalm: A mRI of the brain is the worst if you ever have to have one of those.

I believe they can actually give you valium there... I know they offered it to me once..

Had my knee done the other day... Felt like dancing when they said I wouldn't have to put my head in there..

I asked for Valium when I had to have an MRI-- not because I had a problem with the tube, but because I wanted to get buzzed on Valium...

Gave me two tabs of Lorazepam-1 hour before I took one and 1/2 hour before I took another--no problems--20 minute procedure was easy--my 4th one--they had a new MRI machine and it was bigger iniide--floated thru it-had my eyes closed the whole time. Noisy but had ear plugs. Now for the resultsopcorn2
