Actually Bombs I haven't said anything directly to you since our win against MSU. If by "rubbing it in" you were referring to my sig line, then that would mean you are offended by your own comments.

It's just about time to stop using the "us against the east coast bias" excuse. Where is it? tejas got a #1 seed, and a well deserved one at that. The pod system was very kind to you and put you in your home state. (that's the way things go when you have the pod system in place) Just because you hear an analyst pick Syracuse over your team doesn't mean that's the EAST COAST MAN beatin' your team down. (If everyone was on the same side, and picked your team to win, you'd accuse people of jumping on your bandwagon, and you were there first, and you were the original fan, etc.) If you want to think everyone is not giving you enough credit - hey buddy, whatever works for you.

"It's just about time to stop using the "us against the east coast bias" excuse. Where is it?"

Not sure where you've been since the tourney started but there's been a lot of shit coming from ESPN for one. And BTW, what does Texas' #1 seed by the selection committee have to do with the east coast media? Here's a tidbit here for the curious minds like yourself:

(Quick aside: The NCAA has got to do something to make this a true "national" tournament. It's absurd that Texas' fans can sleep late, lumber in from Austin in an hour, outnumber State's fans 30-to-1, make the Spartans' ears ring, and get home in time to catch "The Simpsons." Teams like Michigan State deserve better than to be forced to overcome virtual home-court advantage this late in the season.)
The Link

Trust me, I'm happy and I can care less about anyone's respect from the Northeastern States. I think it's pretty hilarious how Digger picked LSU, UConn, and Maryland to beat us as well. What's so special about Digger is that he has had us losing to everybody, even teams we didn't play, like LSU.

Now tell me again how none of this even concerns you.

The sel. comm. has your east coast ties. Albeit not media, but everyone is influenced by the media.

No Digger Phelps, nor anyone else that says something on t.v., or for that matter on a website, or in the paper concerns me. You know what they say about opinions . . . They're like a-holes - everyone has one, and they all stink.

Bottom line is this. It sounds like you know your team is good, and that they'll win their next game. What difference does it make what someone else has to say about them? If they lose on Saturday, there will be people saying "I told you so about tejas." If they win on Monday, there will still be people on the other side of the victory, saying how the other team lost the game, or some other piece of biased wisdom.

You asked me: "Now tell me again how none of this even concerns you."

I told you - It doesn't concern me what any talking head says about my team if I know what they're capable of.

On the other hand, there are lemmings that concern themselves with what Digger Phelps, or Jim Rome has to say about their teams, and get worked up about it. Just because he's on tv, radio, or writes a column for a WEBSITE doesn't make him right.

Your only comments that concern me are your continual ass clown references and obsession with the same sex.

WTF? You're still playing the "Kansas should have been the #1 seed card"? We've discussed that to death already, where were you at? How many times has Kansas played at Kemper during the regionals or Duke or North Carolina played in Greensboro as a #1 seed. Michigan State played just as close to home in their regional in 2000. As a #1 seed. A #1 seed that had 7 losses. Syracuse had homecourt and I haven't seen anyone bitch at that. Please find some new material.

Monk.....I was just making a point that Texas has had a pretty easy road to the final four. You're not going to disagree about this are you? Look at some of the losses MSU,UCONN and Purdue had on the road this year.........

trump tight, fair enough.

maverick, that's your opinion. Facing teams with great name coaches such as Izzo and Calhoun is never an easy task, would you not agree? Or maybe you're suggesting that UConn and MSU are pushovers? I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person to disagree with that.

I agree and I dont think they are pushovers.........I never said that......but I would say MSU and UConn were a notch or 2 down from what Izzo and Calhoun has had in prior years. I am hoping for a Kansas-Texas final so lets go big 12.............Also Texas has had a great yr in all sports, bases-nat champs,foots-top 5, now hoops top 4 or better...........congrats
