i was watching the game, i saw two 3's hit in the last 20 secs for a 73-54 final (127 total)

now i see 72-54 all over espn, espn.com, etc (however cbssportsline shows the two 3's as made and 73-54 final in their play-play)

where can i get an official score/explanation?

Both the MSU and Purdue websites are reporting 72-54. some times the play by plays are off a point or two as they talley during the game. They don't catch a reversal (3 to 2) during the game, so it is likely not even the end of the game ones that threw it off.

i was watching it live and it was 70-51 (121 total points) with 30 secs left then pur and msu hit 3's to make it 73-54....it looks as if they changed pur to 72......why?

just pulled up the replay on 360. The last shot by Purdue was a 2. Bit confusing as the ref held his hand out to the side, but he was holding it out noting a 2 with his fingers. The other hand didn't go up as it went in.

The ESPN ticker at the bottom did count it as a 3, erroneously.
